Encode plain text as Base64 or decode Base64 back to readable text. This browser-based tool is useful for API payloads, data URLs, MIME content, and debugging encoded values.
Base64 encoding is the encoded ASCII data into ASCII strings using 64 printable ASCII characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9, +,/), plus “ = ” symbols for suffixing.

& nbsp; Base64 takes input string by bytes to obtain the corresponding binary value for each byte (higher than 0 if less than 8 bits), then links these binary values to a 6bit group (because 2^6=64) and adds zero at the end of the last group if less than 6 bits. Converts each set of binary values into decimals, and then finds the corresponding symbol in the above table and links it to the Base64 coding result.
& nbsp; Base64 can be used for bottom binary data encodings of any data to be used in situations where only ASCII characters can be transmitted. However, the most frequently used for text data processing transmissions, e.g. in MIME format, Base64 can be used to cod e-mail content, facilitate transmission between computers in different languages without confusion, be aware of transmissions rather than displays, e.g. use of utf-8 codes on computers in Western Europe would allow normal display of Chinese (with corresponding libraries installed), but it may not be normal for Chinese transmissions, and there is no concern to convert to Base64.
In the absence of a special description of the Base64 code, it is usually agreed that non-ASCII characters are coded according to the UTF-8 character set.
